Day 01
Arrive Nairobi You begin your magical holiday today as you board your flight to Kenya - the heart of African safari!! On arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you are met by a KWT Airport Representatives and transferred to the Fairmont Norfolk Hotel for overnight.
Day 02
Nairobi – Tree Hotel Leave in the morning to reach the small town of Nyeri. After a sumptuous lunch at the base hotel proceed to the tree hotel in the early afternoon. The night is spent in your comfortable perch above the floodlit waterhole and saltlick where, night – long, a procession of animals comes to drink. Meals and overnight at The Ark. (BLD)
Day 03
Tree Hotel – Mount Kenya After breakfast a short drive brings you to the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club whose membership includes a host of movie stars, politicians and aristocrats. Here you can have a day of total relaxation in the splendid landscaped surroundings. Activities available include golf, tennis, horseback riding, and of course swimming in the heated pool. Overnight and all meals at the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club . (BLD)
Day 04
Mount Kenya Breakfast and depart with packed lunch for a day trip to Ol Pejeta Rhino Reserve – Here stands a haven for nature lovers – Sweetwaters Tented Camp overlooking on one of the finest waterholes in the reserve offers visitors an unforgettable opportunity to watch and photograph big game. You will have a chance to visit Chimp sanctuary. Drive back for overnight at Mount Kenya. Dinner and overnight at Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club . (BLD)
Day 05
Mount Kenya – Masai Mara After breakfast at the club. Transfer to the airstrip. A light aircraft across the Great Rift Valley whisks you to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch followed by an afternoon game drive during which it would be possible to locate the huge black-manned lions, for which the reserve is famous. Meals and overnight at Fairmont Mara Safari Club . Day 06 & 07
Masai Mara A full day of game viewing and exploring of this Kenya’s finest reserve or alternatively a morning game drive followed by an afternoon swim in the cool water of the hotel swimming pool. You may witness the lion making a kill or a leopard enjoying the meal he had dragged up the tree with him. The vegetation is mostly savanna type with forested areas near the rivers and of course the dwarf acacias to cater for the giraffes. More than 60 species of animals are found here and countless bird species, this includes the Masai ostrich and the secretary bird. This is where the great migration of the wildebeest takes place. Meals and overnight at Fairmont Mara Safari Club . (BLD)
Day 08
Masai Mara – Depart Nairobi After breakfast it's time to check out. Transfer to the airstrip for flight by light aircraft to Nairobi. Met at Wilson Airport and transferred to Nairobi. Lunch on own. Your sojourns with Kenya ends today as you are picked up and escorted to the Airport for you to catch your flight back home.
